Aortic disease is among the most dangerous and underdiagnosed conditions in medicine, often remaining silent until a life-threatening rupture or dissection. Rapid Aortic was designed to support the identification and monitoring of aortic disease. It automatically analyzes every CT scan that includes the aorta, regardless of why it was ordered. It then generates standardized measurements from the aortic root through the iliac arteries, and aligns prior scans with current imaging so care teams can see disease progression clearly, without the manual work otherwise necessary.
That design work has now been recognized by Fast Company: Rapid Aortic is a finalist in the Artificial Intelligence Design category of the 2026 Innovation by Design Awards.
