Fast Detection of LVOs

Rapid CTA detects LVOs with a sensitivity of 96% and a specificity of 95%.

Rapid CTA 2D Output

Rapid CTA maps include a colored overlay to identify brain regions with reduced blood vessel density. The severity of this reduction can be readily visualized by a simple, four-color-coded scale.

Rapid CTA 3D Rotational Output

A 3D reconstruction of the vasculature allows the physicians to rotate the image for optimal viewing of blood vessels from multiple angles.

Good Collaterals

Patients with occlusions of the middle cerebral or internal carotid artery typically have a > 10% reduction in blood vessel density. A blue or green overlay identifies a mild reduction in blood vessel density.

Poor Collaterals

The Rapid CTA map above shows a patient with a middle cerebral artery occlusion and poor collaterals, resulting in a severe reduction in vessel density and is identified in red.
